Women's Gift Guide

Merry Thanksgiving! I’m doing this weird thing this year where I’m getting a start on my holiday shopping before Thanksgiving. It feels a little odd but we’re celebrating early with my family and there’s snow on the ground so why not? We honestly will probably be done before December. Kids have done weird things to us.

I love gift guides from bloggers so I thought I’d throw one together myself. Below are some of my favorite items or items on my wish list! I hope they help you find the perfect gift! I’ll share a kid’s and men’s gift guide next week(ish). I’m working on adding additional items to a Gift Guide Pinterest board if you’re looking for more ideas!

Christmas Gift Guide for Women

Pro shopping tip: Don’t forget to sign up for Rakuten (formly Ebates) when shopping online. You get a percentage of your purchase back just for shopping. I use the Chrome extension and it’s a super easy way to save on holiday purchases!

Books make fabulous holiday gifts! I really hope Santa delivers Cut Flower Garden. It looks stunning! I have big dreams of a giant flower garden next Summer! (I type this as it’s 29 degrees and the ground is covered in snow. HURRY BACK SUMMER!) Nate & I have an elderly secret. We’re obsessed with Cook’s Country on public television. I really want to work my way through the Perfect Cookie this Winter. The others listed are favorites of mine that I’d buy 100 times again!

I’m a wannabe crazy plant lady. I’ve been starting slow with the plant mom thing but I’m ready to go full steam ahead. Bring on all of the plants! And planters! And green thumb advice!

I’m like a moth to a flame with pretty kitchen stuff!

Confession: We’ve owned our Instant Pot for 2 years and I finally learned how to use it this month. And I’m crazy obsessed. Nate is making so much fun of me for acting like it’s a new thing in our home. Turns out it’s very easy to use and not nearly as dangerous as I had imagined. Who knew? (Check out my monthly meal plans for lots of Instant pot recipe ideas!)

Nate and I are doing this annoying thing called a budget so my home decor list is long. These are some of the things I have my eye on. Except for the pouf. I own it and LOVE it!

Clothes are tricky to buy for others but maybe you need something to add to your own wish list!

I own a pair of Rothy’s and I want them in EVERY color. But budget (the worst). They truly are worth the splurge! I need to do a full review after the holidays. They aren’t crazy supportive but they basically mold to your feet. I equate them to slippers. (Definitely don’t forget Rakuten on this purchase. It’s usually 5% back!)

The rest are things I’m drooling over. Clearly I was cold and wanted to be cozy when assembling this list.

Jewelry is almost always a safe route. I’m a big Nickel & Suede fan. Their leather earrings are more expensive than others but the quality is far beyond the other less expensive versions I’ve tried. I love the latest styles they have out recently. There’s also an earring of the month so a gift card to shop would be a great idea as well. The rest are pieces I’ve had my eye on this year.

The last category is not super glamorous but they are all products that I have previously received as gifts and I love them all. The hair dryer is magic. It’s like a fancy blowout at home. I seriously get compliments every time I use it. (I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week so it’s not an everyday YOUR HAIR IS AMAZING THING.) The packing cubes are a must for the whole family. I have packing for our family of four down to a science and it revolves around these babies! This clothes steamer has changed my life. (Dramatic much?) I don’t even know where my iron is currently. And last is a handy makeup storage container that I dig! Tried and true favorites!

  • If “stuff” isn’t your jam, Audible/Amazon Music/Gift cards are always a fabulous idea! I love a good podcast but I want to get more into audio books this year.

  • A donation in her name to her favorite charity/shelter

  • Gift cards to favorite local coffee shops, boutiques or nail salons.

  • Restaurant gift cards

  • Maybe a special getaway! (I’m thinking somewhere warm. Always. Hint, hint Nate.)

What’s on your wish list?
