Greetings from Florida! That's right, Nate and I have ditched Iowa for a week. It's time for some sun, palm trees and ocean views. (Don't worry, we have house sitters and a security system. Ike is vacationing with his grandparents where he has endless treats and snuggles.)
Read MoreHappy Monday! How was your weekend? Nate was home on both Saturday and Sunday. It was strange and awesome. We both got a lot of stuff done. Nothing blogworthy but things that made us both feel better. The house is spotless. The garage is clean. The dog is clean. We took a couple of long walks and we all slept a lot. Especially this guy.

On Wednesday I had the opportunity to head to Atlanta to spend some time at The Home Depot headquarters. It was a quick trip. I left at 7pm (after a 2 hour flighty delay) on Tuesday night and was back home by 10:30 yesterday morning. I was able to meet the other DIY Influencers who will be hosting DIY and DIH Workshops in 2015. It's always fun meeting other bloggers. It's also scary. I'm a total introvert and this is way beyond my normal comfort level. I fake it the best I can. Luckily this entire group is fantastic and I had a fabulous time. I'm glad I didn't chicken out.
