Today is the last day of the Dare to DIY 2014. I had one million "deck the halls" DIY ideas for this holiday season and I accomplished like three of them. Womp. Womp. (Darn viruses and weakling immune system.) I did made a quirky gnome, a lighted marquee and this lovely Christmas tree sign.

I was all like "OF COURSE! PICK ME!" And then I forgot about it until like 2 days ago.
Luckily my craft room is currently auditioning for an episode of hoarders. I dug around until I found the holy grail. A pair of women's shorts 10 sizes too large for me that I picked up at a thrift store in October. Why does one buy a pair of shorts 10 sizes too large? Too make room for holiday food. Duh.
