Picking out which quilt I wanted to make took a good month.  This was quite the decision.  I ultimately decided on a herringbone pattern.  I like that herringbone has both modern and vintage properties.  Or at least that's what I tell myself.  Next up was the ever difficult color decision.  I wanted the quilt to be part of the nursery but I also want to use it for his monthly photos. There are so many decisions in parenting already.  As you can see navy, white and green won.

Happy Monday! I can't believe it's June already.  Nate, Ike and I are looking forward to a Summer full of fun.

I finally feel like I've broke out of the pregnancy fog I've been in.  I've had a good burst of energy the past couple of weeks and my creative juices are finally flowing again.

Over the weekend I completed a sign for our console table. This console table has sat empty since removing our holiday marquee and it's emptiness made our house feel a little blah.  I've had an idea for a sign for over a year but just never got around to it. Until now.

This week's Dare to DIY challenge was to "dare to give handmade."  This challenge is always one of my favorites.  I ran a little short on time (story of my life lately) but I'm still happy with my finished projects.
