The Home Depot Holiday DIY Workshop- Save the Date
/Happy November! Who's ready for the holidays? Normally I'd be with those that say "NOT YET CRAZY BLOGGER!". I like to eat my turkey in peace before thinking about Santa and his elves. This year, however, I think I need to start my DIY holiday projects early. The baby is extra helpful. And by helpful, I mean it takes 5 times as long to complete projects with his help.
Our last DIY Workshop of the year at The Home Depot is coming up soon. We're going to be making this awesome wreath trio. This trio will be quite the statement piece in your holiday decorating!

What: Learn how to build your very own wreath trio at The Home Depot Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Workshop. (It's free!)
When: Saturday, November 21st from 10:00-11:30am. Just in time for the holiday season. This would be a fun event to attend with some friends to get you in that holiday spirit. It's not too early but early enough that you'll be prepared for holiday decorating!
Where: The Home Depot nearest you! Nate and I will be attending at the Bettendorf, IA location (920 Middle Road).

For this workshop, we will be walking you through how to make the wreath trio pictured above. What a great way to get you inspired to start that decorating! I'll be sharing a customized version of the project in a couple of weeks. I'm thinking lots of snowflakes but you never know what I'll find when I head to the store! I always find way too many things I want to buy in The Home Depot's holiday department.
New to the DIY Workshops? The Home Depot offers free workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels. These DIY Workshops are great for anyone who wants to learn how to take on more of their home projects and upgrades. The workshops cover topics ranging from how to tile surfaces to gardening and deck staining. Just to name a few! The nice thing about these workshops is that there is plenty of time for questions! Did I mention they are free?
Nate and I will be attending at the Bettendorf, Iowa location. Come join us in kicking off the holiday season! I'd offer to sing Christmas carols but that's not something you want. Trust me.
