Fluffy Dog and Bedding
/The other day I was like "Ike, I'm sick of Winter. Let's add a little Spring to the bedroom."
Ike was all like "Sweet, Chelle. New bedding to roll in."
I switched out our grey comforter for something light, bright and white. I went with the Mirabel duvet from Crane and Canopy. I love that Crane and Canopy has awesome designer bedding choices and the head designer/co-founder loves Ike. Always important. The white slightly terrifies me with that beast above but we're trying it. So far, so good.
Ike and I feel all fancy hopping into bed now. The duvet is made of 300 thread count luxurious staple cotton. It's so soft and fluffy. I will also only own comforters that look naturally wrinkled. Seriously. Who has the time, energy or patience to iron a duvet? Not this girl. The Mirabel fits that bill perfectly.
The duvet is basically the same style as our previous duvet but I prefer the quality from Crane and Canopy. This duvet is larger than our old duvet so it covers more of the bed. I also like that the end is a zipper enclosure. Our previous one had ties that were always coming undone.
I tossed on some yellow shams from the Montgomery collection at Crane and Canopy to match the yellow blanket we already owned. I made the Swiss cross pillow in 5 minutes using my easy sew envelope pillow tutorial.
Ike approved of my new bedding choices. He really loves our fluffy new bedding. Which is important beings he spends more time in that bed than we do.
Looks like we're ready for Spring, right? Don't let this photo fool you. It was 26 degrees out yesterday. Oh well, at least our bedroom is looking all light and bright and cozy!

Who's ready for Spring? Does white bedding terrify you? Any favorites from Crane and Canopy? Who's ready for a nap?
