Housekeeping and Love

So I was totally going to finish up our Maui trip today.  And then I realized that we are having a garage sale tomorrow and I should probably get my act together.  Hold on to the edge of your seats for Monday's Maui finale.  Stop by our house tomorrow to buy our crap.  I mean find yourselves some treasures.

Today I'd like to do a little blog housekeeping.  I announced the winners of the Mohawk Rug giveaway and the Paisley Print Boutique giveaway.  Were you a lucky winner?

I'd also like to share with you a few of my favorite recent projects from the blogosphere.  First up, let's talk kitchens.  These kitchen reveals are blowing me away.  Nate and I are itching to get back to work and these projects are making that itch even worse!

Cassie at Primitive and Proper added a recycle glass backsplash and it's perfect fit for her lovely kitchen.  Be sure to check out her post for the before and afters!

Julia at Cuckoo 4 Design went the marble route and the result is stunning!  Julia also has this awesome wall full of quirky animal plates.  Ike is digging it.

I'm totally drooling over Jen's kitchen reveal over at Home Style Report.  I love all of the details (like that sconce!).  And her dog, Zeke, is adorable and I think you all will think so too!

Let's talk bathrooms now.  I'm in the process of helping little brother prepare for a bathroom makeover so I've been paying special attention to the latest happenings in bathroomland.

Nick and Amber at Wills Casa are finishing up a new build.  Their bathroom is super fancy.  Make sure you check out the tile in their shower. It's a good thing I didn't read blogs before we built.

Last but definitely not least is the coolest bathroom designed by Emily at Go Haus Go.  I have a bird phobia but that ostrich wallpaper is so quirky perfect.  Emily is now working on her kitchen and I feel like it's going to be equally as awesome.  Be sure to check out the progress!

And here's a random Ike picture because it's Friday.  This was last weekend.  He was catching a little sun and helping make sun tea.  I had questions on Instagram wanting to know what sun tea was.  I didn't realize it wasn't a common thing! (FYI, it's just regular ol' tea brewed in the sun.  It, for some reason, tastes better.)

Hope your weekend is fabulous!  See you back here on Monday!
