Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins

This December is starting off to be a cotton headed ninny muggins.  I caught a nasty stomach bug followed by a cold.  I also haven't watched Elf yet.  Horribly lame.  The beginning of December never fails to take me down.  Don't worry.  It's not as horrible as it may seem.  Because Gilmore Girls on Netflix. And the world's cutest nurse.

I have lots of holiday goodness to share once I can remove myself from the couch to photograph.  Until then, let's revisit posts of holiday past.  Maybe you missed something that will rock your holiday world.  (Like this sangria that is extra popular with the Pinterest folks this year.)

While you're waiting for me to get my act together (slow your roll, it's only the 4th!), you can check out last year's holiday tours (dining room and living room).  Last year's dining room tree is being featured over at Balsam Hill.  Lots of great inspiration over there!

Side note: This tree is lucky I featured it in this post. It's pre-lit and half of the lights decided to go out during it's 11 months in storage. We considered throwing it into a snow bank until Nate's mom let us borrow her new Light Keeper PRO. Seriously magic. We're happy our very first tree could continue to be twinkly and live in our warm home.

Or you could check out tours from 2012, 2011 and 2010.  (Warning: They are doozies.)

How about this year's ever popular gnome tutorial?

I'll be back tomorrow with features from this week's Dare to Entertain.  Next week we shall begin all things Decor and the Dog holiday! Get. Excited.  Here's a sneak peek...
