Poinsettia Punch

It's that time of year again.  The time of year where you have to spend time with your family. The time of year where coffee and alcohol are your two best friends.

I kid. I kid. Nate and I love both of our families dearly.

Beings our holiday sangria was so popular around this time last year, I've decided to share another holiday favorite today.  This one is called Poinsettia Punch.  Fancy, huh?

This punch is chocked full of all sorts of wonderful holiday flavors.

I love that it looks super festive and fancy but it quite easy to whip up.

Poinsettia Punch (to serve 4)

  • 3 cups cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon schnapps (or more to taste)
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • crushed candy canes, whipped cream, fresh cranberries (optional)

Combine first 4 ingredients.  Garnish with cranberries, crushed candy canes and whipped cream if desired.  You can also serve this warm.  Just heat the cranberry juice and then add in the booze.

Honestly, drinking cranberry juice from a glass coated in crushed candy cane is actually surprisingly delicious on it's own!  Who knew?
